About 11+ Daily

What is 11+ Daily?
11+ Daily is a UK 11 Plus revision app for Year 5 and 6 children, built around a Today screen that picks the next session, Weak Points drilling on the exact questions a child keeps missing, native British audio on vocabulary and spelling, and a parents dashboard. One account across web, iPhone, iPad and Android. Fourteen day free trial, no credit card required.
Who is 11+ Daily for?
UK families preparing children aged 9 to 11 for grammar school and selective independent school entrance exams. Parents who want short, consistent daily practice with clear visibility of progress. Tutors and homeschoolers who want a question bank with stats and the ability to build custom projects.
What ages and year groups is 11+ Daily for?
Children aged 9 to 11, typically Year 5 or Year 6. Some Year 4 families use it for early, light exposure to 11 Plus question styles before formal preparation begins.
Is 11+ Daily a school product or a family product?
A family product. 11+ Daily is sold directly to parents and tutors, not to schools. There is one simple plan, one price, and the same product whether you have one child preparing or several.

Subjects and exam boards

Which subjects does 11+ Daily cover?
11+ Daily covers English (vocabulary, spelling, grammar cloze, sentence error spotting, antonyms, synonyms, punctuation), Maths (KS2 aligned across number, fractions, ratio, algebra, measurement, geometry, statistics, with easy, medium and hard tiers) and Verbal Reasoning (all 21 GL-style question types). Non-Verbal Reasoning is on the roadmap.
Does 11+ Daily cover Non-Verbal Reasoning?
Not yet. The current app covers English, Maths and Verbal Reasoning. Non-Verbal Reasoning is on the roadmap and will be added without changing the price. Many families pair 11+ Daily with a Bond or CGP NVR workbook for the NVR side, often at a combined cost still well below an Atom Learning subscription.
Is 11+ Daily aligned with GL Assessment?
Yes. The app is built around GL Assessment style: 5-option multiple choice across every subject, the 21 verbal reasoning question types that appear on GL papers, KS2-aligned Maths, and isolated-sentence vocabulary, grammar, spelling and punctuation practice. GL is the most common 11 Plus format across UK grammar and selective school areas.
Does 11+ Daily work for CEM, ISEB and CSSE exams?
Yes. The skills tested across UK 11 Plus papers are largely shared. Vocabulary, spelling and grammar strengthen any comprehension paper. Verbal Reasoning is built around the 21 GL-style types, most of which transfer to CEM and ISEB. Maths is KS2 aligned. The content transfers cleanly to CEM, ISEB Pre-Test and CSSE.
Does 11+ Daily cover the new FSCE format for Gloucestershire?
The KS2 Maths and isolated-sentence English content in 11+ Daily transfers directly to the new FSCE format adopted by Gloucestershire grammar schools for September 2028 entry, since FSCE is also KS2 aligned. We are tracking the FSCE specification and will add FSCE-specific content as full sample papers are published. See our blog post on the FSCE change for details.

Daily practice and how it works

What is the best 11+ app for daily practice?
11+ Daily is built specifically for the daily-habit shape of 11 Plus preparation. The Today screen picks the next session every time the child opens the app, so the friction of "what should we do tonight?" is removed. Sessions are designed to fit five to thirty minutes, depending on year group and energy. Weak Points pulls the exact items a child keeps missing into a focused drill, so short sessions stay genuinely useful.
How long should a daily 11+ session be?
For Year 4: 10 to 15 minutes a day, four to five days a week. For the first half of Year 5 (September to February): 15 to 25 minutes a day, five to six days a week. For the second half of Year 5 (March through summer): 25 to 35 minutes a day plus monthly mock papers. For the final month before the exam: 30 to 45 minutes a day plus a full mock paper most weekends. The substantive preparation window closes at the end of Year 5 because the GL-style 11 Plus is sat in the first two weeks of Year 6 in most regions. See our guide on how much 11+ practice a child should do each day for the full breakdown.
What is the Today screen?
The Today screen is the home of the 11+ Daily app. It picks the next session for your child every time they open the app: a daily mix, the Word of the Day, the Maths Question of the Day, the weak spots to drill, or the session they paused. It removes the decision that usually kills weeknight practice.
What is Weak Points?
Weak Points is a focused drill that pulls together the questions a child has been getting wrong across every subject. Per-question accuracy is tracked in the background, so "shaky on fractions" becomes "practise these six specific questions now". Mastered questions step back so they stop crowding sessions, and missed questions resurface on a spaced schedule until they are learned.
Does 11+ Daily use spaced repetition?
Yes. Per-question accuracy is tracked across every subject. Mastered questions step back so they stop crowding sessions, and missed questions resurface on a spaced schedule until they are learned. The Weak Points drill uses the same data to pull the lowest-scoring items into a focused practice run.
Can children build their own practice papers?
Yes. Quick Test lets parents or children pick subjects and topics, set a length, add a timer, or limit to bookmarked items. Build a focused mini-paper in seconds.

For parents

Can parents track their child’s progress?
Yes. The parents area shows weekly activity, accuracy by subject, recurring mistakes, achievement history and the per-question data behind Weak Points. It sits on the same account as the child, with no separate login and no extra fee.
Are there ads or third-party tracking on a child account?
No ads, ever. No third-party advertising tracking. The app stores only what is needed to run practice, track progress and sync between devices. The parents area is part of the same account, so progress data never leaves the family.
Is the data my child generates private?
Yes. Practice data, accuracy and progress are tied to your account and used to power the app for your family. We do not sell or share child data with third parties. See our privacy policy for the full detail.

How 11+ Daily compares

How is 11+ Daily different from Atom Learning?
Atom Learning is a comprehensive paid 11 Plus platform with a strong school-tier presence and a premium subscription that includes Non-Verbal Reasoning. 11+ Daily is a focused daily-practice app at roughly a fifth of the cost, built around short weeknight sessions with a Today screen, native British audio on vocabulary and spelling, and true iOS, iPad and Android apps with synced progress. For most UK families preparing at home we believe 11+ Daily is the better starting point. See our full Atom Learning comparison post for detail.
How is 11+ Daily different from Bond Online?
Bond Online is the digital subscription from the brand best known for Bond 11 Plus print workbooks. 11+ Daily is a more focused daily-practice app with a Today screen, native British audio, true mobile apps with synced progress, and a much lower price point. The most cost-effective setup for most families is 11+ Daily plus a small selection of Bond workbooks for monthly mock papers and NVR practice. See our Bond comparison post for the three-way breakdown.
Is 11+ Daily better than Bond workbooks?
They are different shapes solving different problems and both have a place in a strong revision setup. Bond workbooks are excellent for focused weekend sessions and full mock papers, particularly the Bond Test Papers series. 11+ Daily is built for the daily habit that workbooks struggle with: short, frequent sessions with automatic targeting and instant marking. For most families, the strongest setup is the daily app plus a small Bond selection, not one or the other.
Should I use 11+ Daily or hire a tutor?
They serve different purposes. A tutor is most valuable for a child who has a specific concept they keep getting stuck on, or who benefits from one-to-one accountability for an hour a week. 11+ Daily covers the daily habit between sessions, whether or not a tutor is involved. Many families combine the two. If budget is tight, daily practice through an app is, in our experience, more impactful per pound than infrequent tutoring.

Pricing and trial

Is there a free trial?
Yes. Fourteen days, no credit card required. The trial is the full app, every subject and every feature unlocked from day one.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The 14 day trial requires no payment details. Card details are only requested at the end of the trial if you choose to subscribe.
How much does 11+ Daily cost?
Pro Monthly is £9.99 per month. Pro Annual is £79.99 per year, which works out at about £6.67 per month or roughly a third less than monthly. There is one plan, every feature unlocked from day one, no tiers and no upsells.
What is the difference between monthly and annual?
Only the billing cycle. The product is identical. Monthly is £9.99 per month. Annual is £79.99 per year, around a third cheaper than paying monthly across the year.
What happens after the 14 day trial?
A Pro subscription is needed to keep practising. Your child's stats, streaks and progress are saved permanently regardless of subscription status, so a returning user picks up exactly where they left off.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Subscriptions can be cancelled any time. Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Devices and accounts

Does 11+ Daily work on iPad, iPhone, Android and web?
Yes. 11+ Daily is available on iPhone, iPad, Android and the web with the same account and synced progress on every platform. Streaks, projects, settings and bookmarks all sync across devices.
Do I need to download an app, or can my child use it in a browser?
Both work. The web version is fully featured and runs in any modern browser. The iOS, iPad and Android apps are the same product with native gestures and notifications, and all share one account.
Can my child use 11+ Daily on more than one device?
Yes. One account works across web, iPhone, iPad and Android with everything synced. A child can do five minutes on a phone in the car and a longer session on the laptop at home, with progress and streaks always in step.
