How to start

Start the free trial

14 days, the whole app, no card needed.

Choose FSCE Gloucestershire

After you sign up, the app asks when the exam is. Set the exam board to FSCE Gloucestershire.

Confirm the switch

Your child's Today screen then offers English, Maths and Across the Curriculum.

Already using 11+ Daily? Set the exam board in Settings, then Exam, on the web, or in Profile in the app. Progress on this version starts fresh, and your earlier progress is kept if you switch back.

Try a question

One each from English, Maths and Across the Curriculum, practice for the Adventure, Beacon and Compass papers.

Choose the correct answer.

Aisha is going away for the weekend. She writes a note to help her six-year-old brother feed their goldfish, Bubbles. Which note is best?

A sports match started at 2:30 pm and lasted 1 hour 40 minutes. What time did it end? Give your answer using the 24-hour clock.

Across the Curriculum

Computing

Choose the correct answer.

Poppy drew this flowchart for making toast, but when she follows it, more and more bread ends up in the toaster. Which arrow is in the wrong place?

Making toast
A flowchart with numbered arrows. Start, then arrow 1 to "Put bread in toaster", arrow 2 to "Push lever down", arrow 3 to the question "Is the toast golden brown?". From the question, arrow 4 (Yes) goes to "Pop the toast up" and then to End; arrow 5 (No) goes to "Wait 10 seconds", and from there arrow 6 goes back up to "Put bread in toaster".

Nobody knows what is on the paper

FSCE publishes no past papers and changes the test every year, so nobody outside FSCE knows what is on it, us included. Our questions are practice for what it is built on, not a preview of the paper.

No practice, ours included, can promise a score or a place.

Built for the Gloucestershire FSCE test only. Not endorsed by FSCE or the schools. What 11+ Daily can and cannot do for this test.

Questions parents ask

When is the Gloucestershire FSCE 11+ test in 2027?
Saturday 3 July 2027, at the end of Year 5, for Year 7 entry in September 2028. Registration opens at 12 noon on Monday 8 February 2027 and closes at 12 noon on Friday 19 March 2027. Check the schools' admissions pages before you rely on the dates.
Has the Gloucestershire 11+ changed to FSCE?
Yes. From September 2028 entry the seven grammar schools use a test written for them by FSCE (Future Stories Community Enterprise) instead of the GL test. It is sat at the end of Year 5, not in September of Year 6, and it has no Verbal or Non-Verbal Reasoning paper.
Are there past papers?
No. FSCE publishes no past papers and changes its content every year. The free familiarisation guides on the schools' admissions pages are the official material, and worth reading with your child. Their 18 sample questions will not be on the real test, FSCE says.
Will my child see these questions in the test?
No, and nobody can honestly promise that. FSCE publishes no papers and changes the test every year. 11+ Daily is practice for what it is built on: English and Maths up to Year 5, the other school subjects, and both ways of answering.
How is 11+ For Gloucestershire FSCE different from the rest of 11+ Daily?
It is the same app, set up for this test: English, Maths and Across the Curriculum instead of the reasoning subjects, written answers as well as multiple choice, and every question aimed at Year 5 or below. After you sign up, the app asks when the exam is: set the exam board to FSCE Gloucestershire.
How much does it cost?
The same as 11+ Daily: £99 a year or £9.99 a month, after a 14-day free trial with no card needed.

Try it for 14 days, free.

No card needed.
